Continuing from last year: Bible Study, “Women and the Word – Studies in the Gospel of John”: In the Gospel of John we find a unique perspective on the life of Jesus and its portrayal of women. Wed., September 8 and the 2nd Wed. of each month, 5:00 PM, Shalom Room

Monthly Prayer & Pie: Join us for a short devotion and prayer followed by pie and fellowship! Free will offering for pie. Thursday, September 16 and the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM, Shalom Room.

Fall Rummage Sale: Opportunities to volunteer beginning Monday, September 27. Sign-up in September. Friday & Saturday, Oct. 1 – 2

Annual Twin Cities Presbytery PW Fall Meeting: Broaden your horizons and meet other women in our Presbytery. Saturday, October 9.

Women of Faith Conference: Get away for a spiritually refreshing weekend. Laugh, cry, relax, catch a glimpse of God’s love for you. Cost ~$90. Friday & Saturday, October 22 – 23. Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul.

4th Annual Blanket/Quilt Making Extravaganza: Join us for this fun “Quilting Bee” benefitting the Marie Sandvik Center. Saturday, November 20, 10AM – 2PM. Potluck lunch.

Adopt a Family East Metro Holiday Project: Volunteer to purchase, wrap and/or deliver gifts. First two weeks of December.

New Year’s Generational Brunch: End 2010 by celebrating ALL women, ages 1 – 100! Friday, December 31, 10 AM, Fellowship Hall & Kitchen.

Author, Lorna Landvik will lead a discussion about her books!  Monday, March 7, 2011, 7:00 PM, Fellowship Hall.

Women’s Local Retreat: Renew, recharge and reconnect with God and other women with retreat speaker, Kelly Johnson. Friday evening – Saturday, April 1-2, 2011.

Spring Rummage Sale: Opportunities to volunteer, beginning in April.

Wilderness Canoe and Camping Trip:
August, 2011


All PW events include devotions, a short business meeting, the Least Coin collection, and a closing song. Childcare is available if requested in advance by calling the church office.
