Women's Ministry at First

The program year 2012-13 will include an array of new and returning opportunities for women. We warmly welcome new participants and look forward to meeting you.

Special Events:
 
1. Bible Study:  Second Wednesday of each month at 5 PM in the Shalom room
2. YogaDevotion: Mondays 6-7 PM in the Sanctuary (check the website for dates)
3. Book club: Second Tuesday of Month (see calendar for time and location)
4. Quilting and Sewing:  Tuesdays at 9 AM in Room 111 (meets in spring, summer and fall)
5. Crafts and Knitting:  Second Tuesday of Month at 6:30 PM in the Shalom Room
5. Rummage Sales: First week-end in May (May 3-4, 2013) and October (October 4-5, 2013)
6. Stamp Camp:  Card making and scrapbooking on designated Saturdays
7. Camping Trip:   August

Mission projects include:
1. Support of global Presbyterian Women’s Mission Projects
2. Solid Ground (formerly East Metro Women's Council) in White Bear Lake (transitional housing)
3. Northside Women’s Space at Kwanzaa Community Church
4. Blanket making for the Marie Sandvick Center
5. Donations from Rummage Sale proceeds to church and community programs serving people
