Confirmation

Confirmation is offered to youth in grades in 8 and 9 every other year starting on odd numbered years.  The purpose is to learn about how we are called to be a church and to explore our personal faith.  In addition to classroom work, the students participate in many types of activities such as retreats.

When they complete the class, the confirmation students write a personal profession of faith.  They present their statement before our Session (the governing body of the church) and are welcomed as full members of our church during our Confirmation Sunday worship service.
