Congregation

Every member in the congregation participates in two important aspects of governance.  The congregation is organized as a representative democracy and elects its officers to govern and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in making decisions for the whole church.

Active members of the congregation vote to call its pastor and and to dissolve the relationship when that time comes.  Every year the congregation also votes on the pastor’s salary and terms of call. These are critical times of governance for our congregation to take seriously and with great joy.
