Home Worship Committee
Led by two members of the current Session, the worship committee is a vital and enthusiastic group of individuals who meet regularly to help plan and prepare for all aspects of worship. This team partners with our pastor to ensure that volunteers are scheduled to help as greeters, ushers, communion servers, liturgists and to deliver the children’s message each week.In addition, the committee works with the choir director and organist to ensure that music is planned and ready for each service. Sanctuary decorations, including those for Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and other holidays, as well as ordinary time are also part of this busy team’s responsibilities.
Communion preparation, ordering supplies for worship, lighting and replacing candles, special music and checking that all aspects of the worship are ready each week round out the responsibilities of the Worship Committee.
