What We Believe

God created heaven and earth, and placed all living creatures to live in peace, including human beings who are made in God's image. Out of love, God sent Jesus to teach us how to live and love in new ways. Jesus calls men and women to believe and trust in him. That faith and trust is made possible through the Holy Spirit.

Believers are invited to gather weekly and be nurtured as the community of believers, the Church. The Church comes together to worship, learn, and support each other in order to go out and share God's love with the wider community.

However hard we try, it is not easy to do everything God asks of us. So when we turn away from our wrong doing, and ask forgiveness, we believe God's promise that we are forgiven in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus died for our sin on the cross and continues to offer us forgiveness when we truly are sorry and confess our sin.
